Meet Our Owner / Director

Sanela

Born and raised in a war-torn region of the former Yugoslavia, Sanela migrated to the United States in 1998 with her family — carrying not only the weight of personal struggle, but a deep and unshakeable commitment to overcoming adversity. Those early experiences shaped her into the educator and leader she is today, instilling resilience, determination, and a profound belief in the transformative power of education.

Sanela is proud to be the first in her family to earn both an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development and Education and a graduate degree in Business Administration. Over the years she has served as Teacher, Assistant Director, and Executive Director, as well as in leadership roles across the business industry — giving her a comprehensive understanding of both the educational and operational sides of running exceptional learning environments.

At My Learning Odyssey, Sanela channels every one of those experiences into creating an inclusive, nurturing space where children, families, and educators can all thrive, learn, and grow together.
